FORT WORTH -- August 20, 2004 -- C I Host, a global leader in Web hosting and software development, has been recognized as a top Web hosting company in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex by Fort Worth Business Press. The publication lists Web hosting and design companies yearly. The issue was released this month.
Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host said although they are honored nationwide, it is always special to be acknowledged by your own hometown area.
“The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex has been great to us,” said Faulkner. “It’s allowed us to grow with its fertile, business soil. Basing our headquarters in this area has been a rewarding decision – one of the easiest I’ve ever made.”
A combination of business acumen, putting the customer first and a solid financial foundation has enabled C I Host to grow consistently since its inception seven years ago with a handful of clients in Faulkner’s college dorm room.
“We’ve managed to stay ahead of the curve in the industry,” Faulkner said. “We’ve continued to grow and become more diverse every year, launching new hosting services options and creating software, such as our e-Memories On The Web.”
Between 2001 and 2003, C I Host doubled its customer base and showed a 690 percent revenue growth. That revenue growth was ploughed back into the company and enabled it to expand. Earlier this year, the churn rate fell to 3 percent, the lowest ever for C I Host and one of the lowest in the industry. In addition, the number of new customers surged to more than 11,000 in the first quarter of the 2004.
Part of this growth came from C I Host’s expertise in what is considered the “sweet spot” in the Web hosting industry – the small- and medium-sized business market.
