NOVATO, Calif. -- Sept. 28, 2004 -- NACIO Systems (www.nacio.com) announced that it has completed the design and installation of a disaster recovery and business continuity infrastructure for its long-time customer Bricsnet in NACIO's newly-opened auxiliary data center in the Sacramento area.
Through the alternate location, NACIO offers offsite digital data vaulting, primary storage and backup services, dedicated managed hosting, and both hot and warm standby sites for business continuity.
Bricsnet's "warm site" features complete fault-tolerance against facility-level failures and data loss. Data from Bricsnet's primary site to the standby site is replicated in real time to avoid data loss. Failover from the primary to the standby site is tested quarterly and is included in the cost of the solution.
Bricsnet's Building/Center product is a fully web-based corporate real estate management platform that integrates property management functionality with modules designed to manage projects, lease administration, transactions, maintenance, assets and space. Bricsnet's client base represents over a hundred thousand users around the world and some of the largest Fortune 500 companies representing a variety of industries.
