Global Crossing Provides IP Transit Services to Brazilian TVA's Broadband Provider Ajato

São Paulo, Brazil - October 6, 2004 -- Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBCE) was selected by TVA, pioneer provider of cable TV, high speed Internet and VoIP services in Brazil, to provide it with IP transit services, last May. Ajato, an internet provider owned by the Brazilian cable operator TVA, has approximately 25,000 subscribers in the country, ranging from residential and cable modem users to small and medium-sized businesses.
