AT&T Wins $27 Million Networking Contract From Outsourcing Solutions Inc.

16 November 2004

ST. LOUIS -- AT&T announced today it has won networking contracts valued at more than $27 million from Outsourcing Solutions Inc. (OSI), a leading provider of strategic receivables management services.

By terms of the three-year contract, AT&T will provide a full range of voice, data and business continuity services supporting both OSI’s internal operations and business process outsourcing services for corporate clients. The contract renews and expands a long-standing relationship between AT&T and OSI.

“Our customers look for uninterrupted network access to consumers and corporate databases and AT&T has proven its solution is flexible, reliable and secure,” said Philip Ross, AT&T regional sales vice president. “We are excited to continue our long-term relationship with OSI and expand it to include new business continuity services.”

AT&T will provide a secure, high-speed, wide-area networking solution that supports OSI’s day-to-day operations, integrating more than 120 company locations across the United States, including more than 60 call centers. The AT&T solution also includes managed Internet access, local and long-distance services.

In addition, AT&T will deploy AT&T ACCU-Ring® Network Access Service at OSI call centers in Pittsburgh. AT&T already provides ACCU-Ring service integrating OSI’s Wisconsin data center with other locations across the country. ACCU-Ring is a self-healing solution that automatically reroutes voice and data traffic around cut or damaged cables, supporting OSI’s business continuity plan.

OSI also employs AT&T Toll-Free Service advanced features that automatically balance call volume among call centers, increasing agent productivity and minimizing customer wait times. If severe weather forces the closing of an OSI call center, the alternate routing feature automatically forwards customer calls to another center to help ensure uninterrupted access to OSI.

OSI’s services are integrated through AT&T OneNet® Service, which consolidates networking services into a single contract, with discounts across all services. OSI also gains access to the AT&T BusinessDirect® Web portal, which enables users to order, manage and monitor their networks, create and track trouble tickets and pay bills electronically.
