Syscom has chosen to package the NEC ExpressCluster software solution with their solution offerings. Syscom is leveraging NEC's software to support its Mail Hosting Service, a mission critical email hosting service with near-instant recovery and reliable data protection at a low cost. This new solution offered by Syscom will enable a high service level agreement providing increased uptime and limited data loss at an affordable price for small to mid-range enterprise customers.
Syscom needed to build up its new data center, and deploy a newly enhanced mail hosting system, to provide its more than 30 customers and more than 500 email accounts with enhanced services. The company's mail hosting service includes a 200MB Mail Box and access to Web Mail, as well as features such as Anti-Spam, DOS/DHA Block, and Auto-Reply. With these new features, Syscom required a non-stop system that could handle mission critical applications. The company decided to deploy NEC ExpressCluster software for Red Hat's Enterprise Linux operating system.

Using Syscom IT Professional Service, customers can choose to have Syscom design, implement, integrate and deploy an IT infrastructure onsite, or outsource their mail hosting to Syscom, taking advantage of the combined strengths of Syscom's IT infrastructure expertise and NEC's ExpressCluster solution.
