MCI Secures Danger as New Hosting Customer

ASHBURN, Va., -- June 28, 2005 -- MCI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCIP) today announced a four-year agreement with Danger, Inc., provider of the hiptop® mobile Internet platform, the software and services that power the popular T-Mobile Sidekick handheld device. MCI will provide a hosting environment to meet the growing demand for sophisticated mobile Internet and data services offered by Danger to wireless operators.
With MCI's Premium Data Center Services, Danger can focus on further development of compelling wireless data applications and services for the mobile Internet. As more wireless operators adopt Danger's mobile Internet platform, MCI Data Center Services offer the performance, security, and scalability for hosted data services that Danger requires to meet the growing demand for wireless instant messaging, email and Internet access.

Danger determined that the capabilities of MCI's Data Center Services met the critical networking and infrastructure objectives for Danger as its business grows through partnerships with other wireless operators nationally and abroad.
