SAN FRANCISCO -- July 12, 2005 -- FusionStorm, a leading national provider of IT products and services, announced today it has completed the acquisition of BMD Solutions, a leading security consulting firm with offices in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area and Las Vegas. BMD has a 10-year history of delivering a complete range of consulting services and security products solutions. BMD Solutions President and CEO Terry Daus will become Vice-President of the newly-formed FusionStorm Security Business Unit.

The acquisition will extend FusionStorm's security offerings with industry leading security expertise and will expand FusionStorm's coverage in the Southern California and Nevada markets.

FusionStorm's new Security Business Unit will offer products from leading vendors including Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Nokia, and Stonesoft. Security consulting solutions include security assessments, architecture review and design, vulnerability and penetration testing, and product selection and implementation.
The acquisition also expands FusionStorm's 24x7 Managed Services offerings to include security support and solutions.
