With more than 26 years experience with Intel, Smith brings extensive, broad-based business and management experience to the RES board. Prior to his retirement, his role as senior vice president and general manager of Intel’s Wireless Communications and Computing Group was responsible for Flash Memory, the XScale™ Microprocessor, and Cellular Communications Chipsets. Smith also held several senior positions within various Intel multi-billion dollar business units, including general manager of the PC chipset division.
