SAN FRANCISCO -- Aug. 9, 2005 -- The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) today announced a non-exclusive agreement with Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA - News) to significantly expand the availability of the association's vendor-neutral storage education, certification and training offerings to IT professionals throughout North America. CA is hosting the SNIA's educational offerings at its 17 training facilities starting in August while providing marketing support to promote these classes.

Adams, chairman of the SNIA. The SNIA education curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics designed to improve storage networking management and administration skills through better understanding of best practices. The courses that CA will be offering are based on SNIA's Job Task Analysis. The SNIA also offers several certifications, including SNIA Certified Professional, SNIA Certified Engineer, SNIA Certified Architect and SNIA Certified Storage Networking Expert.
