Rackspace Managed Hosting Appoints New Director of Sale

London, UK, -- 31 October 2005 -- Rackspace Managed Hosting Europe, winner of the Service Excellence Awards 2005 has appointed Colin Bell as director of sales for EMEA. In his new role, Colin will ensure Rackspace continues to sustain the phenomenal growth that has seen the company double in size each year since its inception. An area of particular focus for Colin, who has spent the majority of his career in large enterprise sales, will be Rackspace's increasing presence in the larger enterprise arena.
Colin joins Rackspace from an e-learning software provider and Rackspace customer, where he held the position of sales and marketing director. With over 20 years experience in IT and Software Solutions, he is used to heading up sales and services teams in rapid growth environments.
