YP Corp. Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

MESA, Ariz. -- April 3, 2006 -- YP Corp. (OTCBB: YPNT), a leading provider of nationwide Internet Yellow Pages and related services, today announced the appointment of Gary L. Perschbacher as chief financial officer of the company effective April 1, 2006. Perschbacher replaces W. Chris Broquist who resigned from the company on Feb. 28, 2006.

Perschbacher brings 35 years of broad-based management experience to YP Corp. He has most recently served as special assistant to the chairman of the board of YP Corp. He is currently a financial leadership partner in the executive services and consulting firm, Tatum LLC, and in that capacity has worked with several emerging growth companies. Previously, Perschbacher served in senior management positions, including CFO, for several companies in various industries and has successfully guided them through rapid growth and turn-around transitions.

Perschbacher has a B.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, an M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management and is a certified public accountant. He has been a participant in several successful initial public offerings and numerous mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. He has worked for such companies as The Coca-Cola Co., Miller Brewery, Sanofi, S.A., and Simula Inc.
