Aegis Sciences Corporation Selects iNet Strategy To Spearhead Comprehensive IT System Modernization Project

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2004-- Nashville-based iNet Strategy announced today that it has been chosen to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end range of IT, communications and security solutions at Aegis Sciences Corporation, a federally-certified, forensic toxicology laboratory providing services to corporations, colleges and universities, schools, government agencies, families and individuals.
Aegis selected iNet Strategy as its full-service, turnkey partner providing expertise in the host of technology-related areas critical to Aegis' ambitious and long-term goal of integrating all of their business-critical software applications and modernizing all of their internal systems. iNet Strategy will continually assess Aegis' network, hardware, telephone and computer security systems and provide the full range of targeted services needed to update and optimize their IT infrastructure, including custom application development, implementation and support.

Aegis is a lean organization, with a one-person IT department, which was quickly being overwhelmed. Implementation is moving rapidly, with iNet Strategy moving on a number of fronts simultaneously. One significant early challenge will be the migration of Aegis' Oracle database to a new server. Once that milestone is reached, iNet Strategy will begin work on integrating Aegis' database to that of one of its primary customers, building a direct, seamless and secure interface between the two organizations, so that reports generated by Aegis' laboratory information management system can be accessed directly by that customer.
