HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--May 4, 2004--MenuLink Computer Solutions Inc. announced today Daphne's Greek Cafe has installed BOA.NET, MenuLink's centralized solution written in .NET technology.
Daphne's Greek Cafe Inc. has 32 restaurants open in California serving authentic Greek cuisine for eat-in or take-out.
Representing a complete rewrite of MenuLink's flagship product, BOA.NET is 100 percent managed code running on Microsoft's .NET framework, utilizing Windows Server 2003. BOA.NET is targeted toward those foodservice operators that want to centrally manage the back-office functions and take advantage of low-cost Internet connectivity, ease of use, and easily deploy software without giving up a rich user interface.
MenuLink will be hosting and managing Daphne's 32 locations from their data warehousing center in Huntington Beach, where they currently host several other companies such as Coco's/Carrows, Qdoba and Del Taco franchisees. Currently MenuLink has 12 of Daphne's units up and running on BOA.NET. The balance of their locations will be installed before June 1.
The Web-based software will provide immediate results to store management and will facilitate ordering, receiving, food cost control, labor management, labor scheduling and financial management. With .NET technology, results are automatically reported to corporate headquarters from the restaurant's Aloha POS systems. BOA.NET consolidates the store data and interfaces it into Millennium for payroll processing and issuing of paychecks. Other data is sent into their Great Plains accounting package.
