Meer.net's Acquisition Increases Service Lineup and Support Capacity for Synergy Web Developer Program

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--May 5, 2004--Isite Services, Inc. a leading provider of integrated e-business applications for the Work Anytime, Anywhere environment, today announced that Meer.net LLC will acquire its Synergy Internet Services division as of June 1st.

Both companies say they view this as a natural evolution of the service model. Meer.net is a nationwide ISP provider of broadband, network and co-location services since 1994. Isite has provided managed security, e-commerce and e-service applications for web developers since 1995.

Drawing on Meer.net's nationwide infrastructure and Isite's expertise in managed services, Meer.net will be able to provide an increased service lineup for business customers. "Meer.net can now provide enhanced web services to our customers", says Tim Wicinski, a partner in Meer.net LLC, "The Synergy team will expand our strengths in a new line of technical services."

Isite's Synergy web developer program is the center of attention. "This change will expand the services Synergy provides web developers", explains Isite Chief Technology Officer Joe Rhett, "The increased service lineup will increase the profit margin for our web developer channel, and Meer.net's nationwide staff will increase support capacity."

Under the agreement, Meer.net LLC will acquire all the assets and ongoing business of the Synergy Internet Services business of Isite Services, Inc. The acquisition is expected to close on June 1.
