Ensim Unify Manager for Exchange 2003 Launched to Accelerate Growth of Hosting Market

It is built on Microsoft's Solution for Hosted Exchange and embodies core Microsoft .NET technologies such as Exchange Server 2003, Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2000, Active Directory, ASP.NET and Visual Studio.NET.

A carrier grade solution, Ensim Unify offers HSPs a common set of processes for resource management, provisioning, monitoring, metering and self-management, as well as a single point of integration with business systems. HSPs also gain a single infrastructure for both retail and wholesale distribution.

For the first time, HSPs can rapidly deploy a fully functional solution for offering Exchange 2003-based services reducing time to revenue and development risk. The product installs easily on standard Microsoft server products and provides XML/SOAP Web services interfaces for rapid integration with business systems. Implementations are fully supported by highly experienced Microsoft and Ensim consultants.

Ensim Unify lets HSPs combine individual Exchange Server 2003 capabilities into a range of plans and up-sells. These encompass mailboxes or dedicated Exchange servers. The HSP can then offer these plans as standalone services or bundle them with existing broadband, wireless and hosting services.

Plans start with basic email and add a wide range of higher value services including rich e-mail, customized Outlook Web Access client, shared calendars, public folders, mobile access and more.

Ensim Unify is the only solution that offers a single infrastructure for both retail and wholesale distribution of messaging services. The product enables HSPs to support private-label wholesale models for large customers, as well as multi-tiered distribution for small, individual resellers. The HSP allocates bulk service resources to resellers who, in turn, further allocate these services to their distribution channels.
