Reporting to Michael Rivers, executive vice president, Worldwide Sales and Service, Fortna will deliver the benefits of Enterasys' portfolio of U.S. government-certified Secure Networks solutions to government agencies and departments worldwide.
Fortna brings to Enterasys extensive federal sales management experience in the networking and communications industries. Most recently, he was vice president, Government Solutions for Avaya, Inc., in Washington, D.C. Previously, Fortna spent 10 years with Nortel Networks in positions including vice president of Federal Solutions, Enterprise Networks. Fortna began his career with IBM's federal sales group. He also serves as a director and executive committee member of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) and is a director of the International Telephone Pioneers Association.
