(Nasdaq:SOFO), a leading rich media solutions company, today announced that BxVideo has developed the first Web-based hosting service designed exclusively to manage content captured using its Mediasite(TM) rich media presentation recorder. Headquartered in the Pittsburgh-metro area, BxVideo developed RMXPRES to provide organizations with the ease and speed of Mediasite's live and on-demand Web communications without any technical or network infrastructure requirements. The hosted service represents a significant development in Sonic Foundry's offerings and further simplifies the rich media distribution process for customers.
