Enterasys Networks Announces Zone Labs as Certified Partner for Trusted End-Systems

ANDOVER, MA -- June 30, 2004 -- Enterasys Networks (NYSE: ETS), the Secure Networks CompanyTM, today announced that Zone Labs(R), a Check Point company (Nasdaq: CHKP) and one of the most trusted brands in Internet security, has become an Enterasys Secure Networks Certified Partner.
Zone Labs Integrity, the company's best-in-class, centrally-managed endpoint security solution, will complement and interoperate with Enterasys' Secure NetworksTM technology to deliver endpoint assessment capabilities for Enterasys' Trusted End-System (TES) solution to enterprise customers. TES (announced today; see separate news release), which is available now, provides the industry's first deliverable solution to integrate the vulnerability assessment features of leading security software companies with the dynamic policy enforcement capabilities of a Secure Networks infrastructure. TES is a standards-based, comprehensive system that enables customers to extend Secure Networks through the network down to the desktop and user level.
A hardware and software solution, the combination of Zone Labs Integrity and Enterasys Secure Networks ensures that all end-user devices, such as PCs and laptops, comply with client system security policies as a prerequisite for network access. The Integrity/TES combined solution, which is based on the IEEE 802.1x industry standard, is a non-proprietary access solution for enterprise-wide security policy enforcement.
