MECHANICSBURG, Pa. -- June 30, 2004 -- EUR Systems announced Wednesday that FiberNet, LLC, West Virginia's leading competitive telecommunications service provider, has outsourced its remittance processing needs to EUR. Under the three year contract, EUR is responsible for the data entry of paid invoices and deposit of associated checks for FiberNet's 8,500 monthly payments. FiberNet produces its end-user bills with EUR's Aptis(TM) End-User Billing Solution and it found value in using a single vendor for all of its billing needs. EUR Systems is a national leader in the development and implementation of billing solutions and business process outsourcing services for businesses.
"EUR has helped us build an efficient billing method for our customers," said Virgil Parsons, President and COO. "The flexibility of EUR's approach is truly unique - and we have found that working with one vendor for both licensing and outsourcing of our billing and back office services to be extremely convenient. Outsourcing the remittance processing piece to EUR saved us a lot of time and money as they had the staff, equipment, and expertise already in place and could get us up and running immediately."
FiberNet expects to implement the new billing system in July of this year.
John Boyd, President and CEO of EUR Systems, says, "Remittance processing is a key component of the billing process as it directly affects our customers' cash flow. We have the latest technology and a staff of trained experts who can process up to 4,000 remittance slips per hour, ensuring your customers' accounts are accurate and your bank accounts are updated daily. We are pleased that FiberNet will be utilizing our service, and we are proud of the work we are doing with FiberNet."
