Seattle, WA -- July 30, 2004 -- Graphics Server Technologies, LP announced today that it has launched the Graphics Server .NET Hosting Program to allow Web Hosting Companies to provide their shared server clients on ASP.NET with access to Graphics Server .NET 2.0 Web Hosting Edition. ASP.NET sites can now take advantage of the sophisticated graphing and charting capabilities of Graphics Server .NET 2.0 to generate dynamic charts and graphs on their web site for free.
Graphics Server .NET 2.0 continues over 14 years of charting technology for the Graphics Server line of Windows software components. Graphics Server technology was bundled with Microsoft Visual Basic Professional when that was first released and has been OEMed by many other leading software companies including Cognos, Borland, ESRI, Enterprise Blocks.
Under the Hosting Program ISP's will be able to install Graphics Server on their servers for use by their shared hosting customers using the ASP.NET platform. Developers for the individual web sites can download the components from Graphics Server for their development and testing process and then simply upload their application code to their shared server.
