LOS GATOS, CA -- August 4, 2004 -- Intacct Corporation, the ERP On Demand solution for distributed enterprises and ISVs, today announced the appointment of Robert J. Jurkowski as chief executive officer. He replaces founder David C. Thomas, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Thomas will remain a shareholder of Intacct.
Drawing on his leadership experience from companies such as Apriso, Silicon Energy and RightWorks, Jurkowski will provide vision and operational expertise to grow Intacct's revenue, workforce and product offering.

Jurkowski most recently served as chief operating officer at Apriso Corp., where he transformed the company from a data collection and point solution provider to a leading execution software provider for Global 1000 manufacturers. He increased Apriso's year-over-year revenue by 20 percent to $19.5 million and doubled software revenue.
Prior, Jurkowski was COO of Silicon Energy Corp., where he helped transform the company into a horizontal leader in enterprise energy management solutions for Global 2000 companies and large utilities. As vice president of worldwide field operations at RightWorks Corp., he grew sales from zero to $100 million in two years. Jurkowski held similar executive roles at Aurum Software, a division of the Baan Company, Dun & Bradstreet Software; Oracle Corp.; Automatic Data Processing; and Caterpillar Inc.
Jurkowski holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Chicago.
