| If you are on a shared web hosting then in most cases, your web hosting company should have a preinstalled tool that will summarise your traffic. It helps break down the demographics of your web audience and other details like which search engine referred your website. If you do not have access to it, a quick e-mail to your provider could easily solve your dilemma.
For users with dedicated server, your only option is to install the required software like web analyzer or awstats which will do the job of breaking down your web audience by domain or sub domain. It is a fantastic way to keep track of your traffic and identify the areas of the website is most popular and vice versa. Even better, the two pieces of software mentioned about is open source and you can feel free to modify the program to suite your needs – if required of course!
Hopefully, the advice above can solve your problem. Good luck!
