| As one of their ex-clients, I have to say that we didn’t have too much success with HostVoice since most of the web hosting quotes that we got from them was always customers looking for the bare minimum. The problem with the system is that when a potential customer submits these “cheap” quotes, hundreds of other web hosting firms offer arm-and-leg specials. Thus, it makes it hard for us to compete since we tend to focus in the direction of quality support rather than just price. We also discover that many consumers are uneducated about web hosting and believe any company can meet his or her needs.
I am not saying it doesn’t work or implying anything in that manner. Under our circumstances, it didn’t work effectively for us. However, if your company competes on price to win customers with mega low cost deals then give it go. Presently, we focus our marketing budget in other areas that have given us a greater return on investment (ROI). Unfortunately, I can not share that information or my marketing guy will hunt me down and do nasty things to me!
