| While small-to-medium sized web sites can run happily in shared web hosting environments, enterprise-level requirements are often higher. Enterprise-level web sites require, or businesses who wish to maintain control over the whole server for other reasons, select dedicated servers because it offers higher security, increased reliability, and exclusive access of hardware and bandwidth. Dedicated servers are suitable for a number of applications including high trafficked web sites, secure data transfers, and operation of sophisticated applications. |
