Will my web hosting company backup data on my dedicated server on my behalf?

This will depend on what dedicated server hosting package you purchased and whether it was part of the service you purchased. Some companies will back your data for free and others may charge a small, fixed fee. If data backup is essential in your line of business, contact your web host for data backup options and they should be able to accommodate you.

Lastly, there are companies on the Internet that can remotely store data for a fee and may be a good option for your more important data.
