When does co-locating a server or servers the right decision for my business web hosting requirements?

Business who wishes to have full control of its hardware and software setup is the typical co-location client. Thus, the business must purchase all the necessary hardware and software for the web site to operate on. However, it also gives the opportunity to pick what hardware they want, have software installed and configured as the customer sees fit.

The only responsibility the web host has is to provide the connectivity and other networking essentials.
