What is SSL or Secure Socket Layer? |

| SSL, or Secure Socket Layer, is an encryption technology developed by Netscape that ensures data transmitted between the end-user and the web site is safe by encrypting the connection. Prospective clients accessing the secured area of your web site will see the padlock graphic at the bottom of their screens informing them that an SSL session has been initiated, indicating the safe and uninterrupted transmission of any data. |
