Credit card fraud is probably one of the issues you will face when operating a web hosting business since it is rampant throughout the Internet. However, there are measures to reduce the risk including:

Check if the credit card information matches the IP address that was placed by the card owners.

Contact credit card owner by phone and confirm the order.

Ask for a photocopy of his or her drive’s license.

Lastly, select a merchant provide or credit card processor that adopts anti-fraud policies and tools. It will save you a lot of hassles later on.
